Community Partners 2016

The Ark Valley High Rollers are a 501(c)3 non-profit, all volunteer run organization made up of women from Chaffee County.  We not only play roller derby, but continue to reach out to the community by volunteering for local events and supporting local nonprofits by donating a portion of bout proceeds to a local charity of choice.

Our 2016 Community Partner recipients were presented with a check from our bouting proceeds at all home games.  These organizations work throughout Chaffee County to safeguard, enable, and enrich our citizens and we are honored to advance their efforts with a monetary contribution.  Our recipients and a link to read more about their mission and efforts is provided below.

Planned Parenthood

Planned Parenthood believes in the fundamental right of each individual, throughout the world, to manage his or her fertility, regardless of the individual’s income, marital status, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, age, national origin, or residence. We believe that respect and value for diversity in all aspects of our organization are essential to our well-being. We believe that reproductive self-determination must be voluntary and preserve the individual’s right to privacy. We further believe that such self-determination will contribute to an enhancement of the quality of life and strong family relationships. – See more at:
